Looking back at God’s faithfulness gives us the assurance and courage to boldly step forward into a bright and exciting future.  With a strong and vibrant past we look forward to an amazing future.

As a community we have shaped our “vision” around a concern, cause, and strategy.  Those three elements make up how we seek to prioritize and align our resources as individuals, families, and a church.

Our Concern: What bothers us and drives us?
We believe that humanity is broken and fragmented.

Our Cause:  How do we address this concern?
We address this concern by Experiencing and Expressing the Essence of Jesus.

Our Strategy:  How do we align our lives and resources to live out our cause?
We live out of a relational metaphor to engage the world we live in through the Park, Coffee Shop, & Living Room.

The Park

A park has lots of people doing activities side by side, but not much is required relationally. We have the opportunity to expose ourselves to the brokenness of the world and expose others to the hope of Jesus. These groups are also a great way to invite someone in to introduce them to the community of Grace Chapel.

The Coffee Shop

Our next level of groups resembles a coffee shop. This is a place to more intentionally discover more about who God is, what He is doing in us and the world, and what He wants to do in us.   These groups require a little more of you relationally, but are often limited by a time frame, a very specific focus or the number of people present.

The Living Room

The Living Room is where we invite people into deeper relationship, an opportunity to process what we have discovered about God and ourselves and to be launched back into each of the environments with the desire to experience and express the essence of Jesus at a deeper level. We share more of our hearts and lives in the living room. We believe that this is the BEST environment for long-term, consistent life change, and learning to live on mission with Jesus therefore we call them a discipleship community.
