Our desire is for children to grow in their understanding of God, their relationships and their overall sense of who God is making them to be. We have created Kidventure to be a place of safety, teaching, and an expression of God’s love.

Each Sunday, Infants and Toddlers can expect…

To Feel Welcomed: You and your infant/toddler will be greeted with a smile at our check-in stations. You will check your child in and print a name tag for your child.  Each parent will receive a receipt matching your child’s identification number which you will use to pick up your child after service.

To Feel Loved: Our trained infant and toddler leaders are committed to sharing the love of Jesus with your child through engaging activities and play.

To Feel Safe: We have many safety procedures in place, but one of the most important ways to create an environment where a child feels safe is building relationships and trust between the child and leaders. Our infant and toddler leaders serve in the classrooms every Sunday, every other month. This consistency is crucial in cultivating those relationships.

Each Sunday your preschooler will enjoy a team who is working to…

Make It Fun:  Teachers will spend the first 15-20 minutes welcoming your little one with a first look at the Bible story for that morning

Make It True:  Preschoolers will travel to the 4’s classroom for large group worship.  Then it is back to their classrooms to hear the Bible story from God’s word in a way that they can understand and remember.

Make It Stick:  During the last half of the morning children learn through activities and crafts that reinforce the Bottom Line, our key truth for the entire month.

Make It Real:  Preschoolers have an opportunity to share what is on their heart and pray for each other.

Here at Base Camp we have some policies and procedures in place to help ensure your child’s safety and care.

2-Adult Rule, Room Capacity and Ratios
Our 2 Adult Rule ensures 2 adults in our classrooms at all times. This means restroom breaks and diaper changes are performed by one of our trained Oversight Volunteers. Each of the 6 Base Camp classrooms has a sign posted outside stating the room capacity and an adult/child ratio that is to be upheld in the classroom. In the event that we reach capacity and/or ratio, the room is subject to closure for the service.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Children are welcome to join the classroom 15 minutes prior to the service and are to be signed in by their parent/guardian. To ensure a continued safe environment we ask parents/guardians to pick up their children immediately following the service unless paged beforehand.

Good Health
Our desire is to offer a safe, healthy, and quality ministry to children. To serve this end we have developed our Well-Child Guidelines.  Click Here for more info.

Enrollment
It is imperative that you check in with a Kidventure staff member if you are visiting for the first time. A Connect card should be completed if you choose to make Grace Chapel your church home. We will ask you for each child’s name, birthdate and allergy information before we can check your child(ren) into class.  We will then print name tags for each child that have a security code on them.  Each parent will receive a security receipt matching the security code on the child’s name tag.  You will use this receipt to pick up your child after service.

Tips & Reminders
Should your child need you during the service the number on his/her nametag will appear briefly in the lower left hand portion of the screens in the sanctuary. Please be aware of your child’s number (located on your security receipt) and return to the Base Camp area if it is posted.
