Grace Chapel has always had a high value for being in a smaller community within the larger community of Grace Chapel; places to connect with people, be encouraged and challenged in our faith, receive support, and enjoy life in the fellowship of others. Many of us have felt the need for this more than ever in these last months. Connect Sunday is a chance to find the people and places we can build our smaller community within the whole. There will be various offerings this fall, so watch for more details and tune in to church online October 4th to hear more.
WILDFIRE RELIEF RESPONSE
In this time of uncertainty and grief, it is our privilege as the Church to be the hands and feet to take action. As a church body, here are some ways you can respond to the Oregon Wildfires:
We have a team in place ready to help those who have been impacted by these wildfires. We would love to know how we come alongside you and help. This team will be responding to those who need assistance and offers of assistance. Many of you have reached out and offered several different ways you can help support others and we love that! The best way to reach out if you need support or to offer support is to email us at [email protected]. You may also reach us at (503) 570-2988 option 2.
If you would like to give to the Wildfire Relief Response Fund assisting those who have been impacted, please visit give.theheartofthecity.org. 100% of your giving will aid in our relief efforts to help those who have been displaced by the wildfires.
Our For The Kingdom (FTK) generosity initiative began December 2018 and runs through November 2020. You can learn more about FTK in our GC app or on our website at forthekingdom.build.
