Grace Kids
About
We provide care for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers by helping these little ones grow in their understanding of God, their relationships with others, and their overall sense of who God is making them to be. It’s a place of safety, teaching, and an expression of God’s love.
At Grace Kids, we want preschoolers to grow up knowing:
God Made them
God Loves them
Jesus Wants To Be Their Friend Forever
We aim to make the Bible come alive to our K-3rd Graders, by making church fun & relevant through interactive games, crafts, drama, videos, and live worship, as well as providing great leaders who will invest in kids lives.
At Grace Kids, we want kids to grow up to:
Make the wise choice
Trust God no matter what
Treat others like they want to be treated
We use an engaging environment geared specifically for preteens to help them learn, grow, develop and share their walk with Jesus. We strive to taylor an experience to help them understand God and how the Bible relates to their lives.
At Grace Kids, we want preteens to:
Make the wise choice
Build strong relationships
Develop a deeper faith
Our vision is to partner with you in creating an engaging environment where children can experience and express the Life of Jesus. If you are interested in having your child dedicated, please contact us below.

Parent FAQ's
We love first-time visitors! Once you've arrived at Grace Chapel and come through the main lobby of our building, enter into the double doors near the coffee shop. You will be greeted by a New Family Specialist at the front desk who will get you signed in and show you where your child’s assigned classroom is. If you'd like to pre-register to speed up the check-in process, click here to fill out the family registration form. From the minute a child arrives at Grace Kids to the minute they are picked up to go home, we want to make sure they feel comfortable and have the best experience possible.
Because our curriculum is adapted in each class to best fit the age group being taught, we encourage kids to attend the service in their assigned classroom. However, if a child is uncomfortable attending alone, they may attend service with a friend or family member; we just ask that both children attend the service for the youngest child’s age group. This allows both children to fully understand and engage in the lesson being taught.
Yes! Each week, we send home a handout for parents called the ParentCue. This handout offers ways to engage with your kids throughout the week that corresponds with the weekly message and Bible Story we talked about on Sunday. We also send regular emails and share tools and resources on our social media accounts.
Your child’s safety is a top priority. Once checked in through our secure check-in system, kids can be off into their assigned classroom. Please note that a security tag must be visible to enter into kids' spaces for drop off. For pick up, you will be required to show your security tag to our dependable & trained classroom leaders. For quick, easy, and touchless check-in, download the Church Center App to check-in before you arrive.
Many parents are involved with their children at Grace Kids and our team is always excited to welcome new leaders who love pouring into the lives of their children. If you would like to serve on our Grace Kids Team, click here or contact us at [email protected].
The best way to stay up to date is by following us on Facebook and Instagram. We also send a monthly parent email that keeps you in the know of what’s going on each month. If you’re not already getting this email, please update your email preferences. You can also contact us anytime at [email protected].
Children one-year-old through preschool receive a prepackaged option of Goldfish, Graham Crackers, Crackers, and/or Raisins. If your child has an allergy or cannot have provided snacks, please notify the Oversight Leaders so they can add an alert to your child's nametag. Snacks are not provided for K-5th graders.
To ensure a safe and healthy environment for every child, we request that you not bring your child to church if he or she has had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours: Fever of 100 degrees or more, vomiting, diarrhea, yellow or green runny nose, excessive cough, any symptoms of common illness (such as: chicken pox, strep throat, pink eye, etc.), use of antibiotics for 24 hours or less.
Yay! Happy Birthday! Grace Kids follows the state of Oregon’s school guidelines for grade level advancement, admitting a child to the appropriate class based on the child’s age on September 1st. Move-Up Sunday happens once a year and affects children entering 2’s, 3’s, 4’s and K-5th graders.
Yes! We offer a Mother’s Room to accommodate those who are nursing. The Mother’s room is equipped with a TV monitor of the service so you don't miss what's happening in the large gathering. The Mother’s Room is located in the Grace Kids downstairs classroom area.
